“St. George ―  Building its senior living portfolio, Western States Lodging recently received city council approval for its twelfth senior living community in Utah with Legacy Village of St. George, situated on Dixie Drive with easy access to I-15. Anticipated construction start is late summer 2019 and opening in 2021.

“Senior living communities today have so much to offer” said Brad Miles of Western States Lodging and Management. “We’re not only accommodating the needs of couples who maintain an active independent lifestyle, but also providing assistance for residents who may need dementia-related care. Our mission at Western States has always been to provide both amenities and services that exceed our customer’s expectations. We do that by truly listening to what our customers want.”

Legacy Village of St. George will offer 256 units in two-bedroom, one-bedroom and studio floor plans. The larger units will have full kitchens and laundry rooms with balconies and/or porches, and the memory care units will be in a secured, private area of the community.

Western States Lodging is partnering with Garn Development on the project. Travis Parry with LINX Commercial Real Estate helped procure the site for the development. The project is designed by Beecher Walker Architects out of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Western States was founded in 1996 and focuses its efforts on developing and operating hotels and senior communities. The company’s portfolio includes hotels, senior apartments, multi-family housing and senior communities in Utah, Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Hawaii, Kansas, Colorado, Nevada and Arizona.”
