“The Oklahoma State University Alumni Association and Legacy Village of Stillwater have made their long-term partnership “official.”
The Alumni Association, which represents more than 250,000 living graduates of OSU, has officially endorsed Legacy Village of Stillwater as its preferred senior living community for OSU alumni and friends.
“It’s the goal of many OSU alumni to return to Stillwater when they retire and rejoin the community that meant so much to them during their college days,” said Dr. Ann Caine, OSU Alumni Association president. “We have watched Legacy Village develop over the past three years into a truly premier facility with passionate, caring staff, and we’re excited to endorse them to those Cowboy family members who are ready to retire in Stillwater.”
Legacy Village of Stillwater’s stunning 55-acre campus is located just a few miles from the heart of Oklahoma State University. Legacy offers 246 apartments and villa homes and provides independent living, assisted living and memory care services. Residents enjoy an abundance of recreation activities, outings, chef prepared restaurant-style dining, along with many other amenities and services.
“Many of our residents and associates are graduates or former employees of OSU, and most everyone at Legacy is a devoted fan of the Cowboys” said Cody Erikson, Legacy Village Executive Director. “This community was a long-time dream of so many Stillwater seniors. It is an honor to be a part of bringing it to fruition and forming a great partnership with the OSU Alumni Association, which allows residents to maintain a close connection to the university they hold so dear.”
Legacy Village will continue to serve as the primary sponsor of Alumni Association’s award-winning Grandparent University program in addition to a new sponsorship of the North Texas Chapter’s Brighter Orange fundraiser. The Alumni Association will also continue its popular programing that brings student Alumni Ambassadors to Legacy Village for events and activities with residents throughout the year.
