Legacy Village of Taylorsville

Leadership Team

Lance Dearden

Executive Director

Lance was born and raised in Utah, and received his undergraduate degree in mass communication and his graduate degree in occupational therapy from the University of Utah. Before beginning his career in transitional rehabilitation in 2011, he worked at the University Hospital and then Primary Children’s Hospital. Lance enjoys working at Legacy Village of Taylorsville because residents and guests are always the top priority. When he’s not at Legacy, Lance enjoys spending time with his family, running, U of U athletics, and going to the lake.

Kim Wendelboth

Sales & Marketing Director

Kim was born and raised in Florida, but is happy to call Utah home. An experience with a close friend with dementia showed Kim she had love to give to older adults. After a 25-year career in an unrelated field, Kim began her most fulfilling career at Legacy Village of Taylorsville. She understands the important and emotional decisions families face, and strives to connect with each family personally. Kim loves running and has used that passion to help start the annual Legacy River Run, where 100% of proceeds are donated to local charities. She enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, ice hockey and most of all being with her family.

Lisette Chausse

Assisted Living Manager

Lisette is a proud Weber State University graduate who earned her bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration in 2019. She has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, and a Habilitation Therapist, which sparked her interest in therapeutic recreation. Lisette is happy to be a part of the Legacy team because she loves our Personal Touch Culture. She is passionate about caring for her residents and families and is always excited to make a positive difference in their lives. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, crocheting, and traveling.

Kristin Garcia, RN

Resident Care Coordinator

Kristin was born and raised in Utah. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Utah. Before joining the Legacy team, Kristin was an emergency department nurse for over ten years. She learned a lot while working there, and is excited to use that knowledge to serve the residents of Legacy Village. Kristin values building lasting relationships with residents, families, and associates. In her spare time, Kristin loves spending time with her family, watching movies, ice skating, hiking, and traveling. She loves the sun and the beach!

Emily Anderson
