Kortney Ahlstrom

Meet Kortney Ahlstrom, a culinary master with roots tracing back to the charming town of Tropic, Utah, nestled in the breathtaking valley of Bryce Canyon. Raised amidst the hustle and bustle of the family-owned business, Doug’s Place, which encompassed a gas station, grocery store, motel, and restaurant, Kortney honed his culinary skills from a young age. It was here that he discovered his passion for cooking, eventually taking the helm as manager and chef of the restaurant before embarking on a journey to La Verkin with his beloved wife. His career path led him to Sterling Court, an Assisted Living Community in St. George, where he ascended to the role of executive chef, delighting residents with his delectable creations and innovative events.

Guided by the philosophy of “Enjoy The Ride,” he embraces life’s challenges with a spirit of adventure and exuberance, believing that every moment is an opportunity for joy and growth.
