Legacy Retirement Residence

Ed has strong roots in beautiful Cache Valley, but when he joined the Legacy Retirement Residence team, he and his wife Autumn decided to move their family closer to the Salt Lake Valley. Ed received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Weber State University and then received his State Teaching License in special education from Utah State University. Beginning in 2007 and prior to joining the South Jordan team, Ed served at our sister-community, Legacy House of Logan. Ed and his wife spend their free time with their four children; taking them skiing and driving them to their various activities.

Leilani has been employed in the senior-care industry for over 15 years. Prior to becoming the Marketing Director at Legacy Retirement Residence of South Jordan, she worked in a similar capacity at our sister-community in Logan. Leilani believes that a leader should lead by example and should be as eager to help with everyday small tasks as they are with large, complex tasks. Leilani is thrilled to be a member of the Legacy family and looks forward to being a part of it for many years to come. She enjoys running, vacationing and spending time with her family.

Jennifer has been a part of the Legacy family for many years. The one thing that she enjoys most about her job is spending time getting to know our residents. One of her favorite quotes is, “The shortest distance between two people is a smile.” Jennifer not only believes this is true but practices it daily. Jennifer has been blessed with amazing children and enjoys spending as much time with them as possible. Some of her hobbies include baking, decorating cakes, reading, painting and crafts.

Tara has a master’s degree in recreation management with a minor in gerontology from BYU. Before coming to Legacy, she was instrumental in starting the Huntsman Senior Games. Tara joined the Legacy family in 1998, and during this time, has been co-chairman in the Salt Lake Valley Recreation Association for many years. She believes that everyone feels and thinks better when they are up and moving. She loves coming to work and moving with the residents. Away from work, Tara enjoys spending time outside hiking and camping with her family.
