Shauna Chavez

Executive Director

Shauna Chavez has dedicated half her life to healthcare, inspired by a promise to her grandmother to provide better senior care. After earning her CNA at Weber State University, she worked in long-term care for 12 years in various roles, then transitioned to home health and hospice in 2014. Missing daily resident interactions, Shauna returned to assisted living seven years ago and now finds joy in helping people enjoy their retirement.

Outside of work, Shauna enjoys family time with her husband, two adult children and a high school junior; watching sports; and traveling. She is excited to join Legacy House of Park Lane and looks forward to building connections with residents and their families.

D'Lynn Wayment

Sales & Marketing Director

Working with older adults is D’Lynn’s calling in life, and she is passionate about being an advocate and friend to the residents she serves. Her career began at a sister community, Legacy House of Ogden, in 2001, where she served in many roles. In 2009, D’Lynn was awarded Legacy’s highest associate recognition, the “Personal Touch Award,” for developing a very special loving and meaningful connection with a resident. D’Lynn is the proud parent of two daughters. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, hosting themed parties and many outdoor activities. Some of her favorites are: camping, UTV riding, and vegetable and flower gardening. She plants pollinating flowers to draw hummingbirds to her home in addition to feeders. This is a simple joy of hers along with canning salsa! 

Shari Wilson

Assisted Living Director

Shari Wilson, born and raised in Utah, has lived throughout the state, which has shaped her diverse perspective and deep connection to her community. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in human services. Shari began her career as a certified nursing assistant at 18, initially viewing it as a temporary job, but quickly fell in love with the field. Her passion for healthcare has consistently drawn her back, leading her to her current role as an Assisted Living Director. Shari is deeply aligned with the culture at Legacy, where the ethos of “Serve residents like family” resonates strongly with her values. Her management philosophy centers on kindness and accountability, which she believes are essential for creating a supportive and appreciative environment for associates. Outside of work, Shari enjoys painting, singing, dancing, camping, and spending quality time with her family. She is also passionate about raising chickens!

Payton Hockenbury

Memory Care Director

As Memory Care Director, Payton Hockenbury, oversees our memory care community and our professionally trained caregivers who provide specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and memory loss. Our expert caregivers help residents with memory support as well as assistance and supervision for daily activities such as personal care, medication assistance, and meals. 

Ashley Baldridge

Administrative Assistant

Ashley’s love for serving started when she was ten years old. Her Saturdays were reserved for her Grandma Jewell, and it was here that she learned to vacuum perfect lines in the carpets and bake the best chocolate chip cookies. She was welcomed into the Legacy family in 2021 as a Recreation Assistant and has adopted many grandparents since. She is thrilled to now be serving her extended Legacy family as their Administrative Assistant. In her free time Ashley loves traveling, self-care routines, going to the movies, and spending time with family.

Emily Loflin, RN

Wellness Director

Emily Loflin, RN, is a lifelong Northern Utah resident with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Weber State University. She has 22 years of healthcare experience, starting as a Surgical Tech at Davis Hospital and later working in labor and delivery before transitioning to hospice nursing. Emily is passionate about compassionate leadership and team support.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, family time, and yard work. Married with three daughters, two in college and one in high school, she is excited to bring her expertise to Legacy House of Park Lane.

Brittany Blanch

Recreation Director

Brittany Blanch, recreation director at Legacy House of Park Lane, designs innovative life enrichment and wellness programs that cater to a wide range of interests and abilities. Brittany’s dedication to resident well-being is evident in her carefully curated monthly calendars, featuring a mix of physical, mental, and social activities. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and compassionate approach continually enrich the lives of residents, fostering a vibrant, supportive environment at Legacy.

Jakob Nielsen

Executive Chef

Jakob Nielsen oversees our restaurant-style dining program. Food is important. From new tastes to classic favorites, our dining program connects residents and families in unforgettable experiences. 

Travis Chant

Maintenance Director

Travis Chant, a dedicated and compassionate professional, serves as the Maintenance Director at Legacy House of Park Lane. Travis has a passion for creating safe and comfortable environments tailored to the unique needs of older adults. His leadership is marked by his proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that every aspect of the community operates smoothly and efficiently.
