Michelle Baker

Executive Director

As Executive Director, Michelle Baker oversees all operations for the senior living campus, including the day-to-day work of associates serving assisted living and memory support residents. At Legacy House of Avondale, we distinguish ourselves from others by embracing a Personal Touch Culture in which our associates strive to make loving and meaningful connections with those we serve. 

Jerry D'Andrea

Sales & Marketing Director

Jerry was born in Queens, New York, but lived on Long Island for most of his life. In 2016, Jerry and his family left New York, drove across the country, and moved to Arizona. Jerry worked in the hospitality industry for 15 years before finding his passion serving older adults. He has been in the senior living industry for over 20 years. Jerry served on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association in New York and has also served on various committees for the Arizona Alzheimer’s Association. Jerry feels if he as helped at least one resident or family find solutions to their needs, he has had a great day.

Lori Hinton

Administrative Assistant

Lori is originally from Montana. Her background is in administration, but she is also a Certified Pharmacy Technician. She enjoys working in senior living because of the opportunity she has to make rewarding connections with residents, as well as the opportunity to make a positive difference through her work. Lori feels strongly connected to Legacy’s Personal Touch Culture and has a goal to edify, comfort, and inspire those around her each day. When not working, Lori enjoys spending time with her four daughters and grandchildren, traveling, reading, and watching movies.

Greg Munoz, LPN

Wellness Director

Greg is originally from the Philippines. He was recruited by the US Navy in 1975 and retired after 26 years of service. Greg graduated from nursing school in 2001 and has enjoyed a career in serving others. He has been married for 48 years and has three sons. In his free time, Greg enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, listening to “oldies but goodies” music, going to the movies, and going out to eat. What Greg loves most about working at Legacy is living out our mission statement, “Serving You Like Family.”

Eric Schiellerd

Dining Services Director

Eric graduated from Scottsdale Culinary Institute in May 2000. He has worked in all fields of the food and beverage industry, including various positions at the Four Seasons in Chicago, Food and Beverage Manager for a private country club in Michigan, and Senior Executive Chef at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Eric loves his role at Legacy House because he loves Legacy’s Personal Touch Culture. He believes serving delicious food and creating an exciting dining environment allow him to truly serve Legacy residents like family. In his spare time, Eric enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Wayne Liepke

Maintenance Director

Wayne was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and made the wise decision to move his family to Arizona in 2016. Growing up, he helped his father with repairs on the family’s rental properties. This eventually led to properties of his own and a career of maintaining large commercial buildings and apartment complexes. Upon moving to Arizona, Wayne became the Director of Plant Operations at an assisted living community, where he realized his passion for working with seniors. When not at work, Wayne enjoys going on weekend adventures with his wife and three daughters.
